Updating Listings: If a user wants to create a new room listing or roommate profile, they must first delete their existing one. This ensures that each user has only one active listing or profile at any time.
Email Verification: For a roommate profile or room listing to be active and visible on the platform, users must verify their email address. This verification process helps maintain the authenticity and reliability of the listings and profiles.

In our roommate section, there are two main types of users: those looking for a room (roommates) and those offering rooms (room listings).
1. Roommate Profile
This option is for users who are looking for a place to stay. By creating a roommate profile, users can specify their preferences, such as location, budget, and other living arrangements. It is entirely free to create a roommate profile, making it easier for individuals to find a suitable place to live.
2. Room Listings
This option is for users who have a room available for rent. By creating a room listing, users can provide details about the room, including location, rent, and amenities. Creating a room listing is also free, allowing users to offer their available spaces without any charges.
